The 80's as I have said many, many times before were without a doubt the golden age of Heavy Metal and one of the greatest bands it ever produced was legendary east coast thrashers Anthrax. Having grown up listening to their tremendous sound, I was absolutely ecstatic to have been given the privilege of seeing the band on their 2005-2006 reunion tour, the tour that inevitably brought together once again the band with former vocalist Joey Belladonna. Unfortunately the reunion was short lived and although expectations of a new studio album were in very high demand the band once again decided to split with frontman Joey belladonna and have since found yet another new vocalist to replace him. Joey though, is by no means sitting idle and is currently preparing to hit the road with his band Belladonna in the coming weeks. Dubbed the "Never Look Back Tour", I recently had the immense pleasure of speaking with Joey in a very candid interview to discuss this latest jaunt as well as to dig a bit deeper into the circumstances surrounding his departure from Anthrax in 2006, after what was considered to be a very successful reunion. In addition we also talked about the latest addition to the Belladonna line up, guitar master Jack Frost (ex-Savatage/Seven Witches) and what we can look forward to in the not too distant future.
